Here is a meal that you can make in 10 minutes as far as the preparation time goes although the chicken will need to bake for an hour. But it is as easy a recipe as I can think of and requires the least amount of prep time of almost any of the recipes that I make. It is also absolutely delicious.
Ingredients:2-4 Chicken breasts with skin on
Seasonings - I use adobo (which is a mixture...cutting down on the number of ingredients) or Paleo Powder Pink (another mixture that is spicier) as seasoning and sea salt.
Frozen vegetables - I add coconut oil and sea salt to the finished product but any seasoning will do.
So when you get home preheat the oven to 350.
Take the chicken out which will have thawed out in the refrigerator before you left for work assuming that you actually go to a job site. Otherwise you can take the chicken out of the freezer around noon if you are planning on baking it between five and six.
Cut open the rap in the sink, and run the chicken under warm water ... try not to splash around too much as it is very germy and you don’t want to spread the germs. Use paper towels to pat dry the chicken. Always pat your meat dry as it browns much better According to Julia Childs.

Line a baking dish with Parchment Paper. Sprinkle on your favorite spices and herbs being sure to cover both sides of the breast. Pop into oven skin side up. Bake for one hour.1.5 minutes prep time
You are free to go work out, take a hot bath, play a game with the kids, talk to your mom etc. as your oven is doing all the work.
At 45 minutes put frozen vegetables into microwave dish (or in a pan) and nuke for four minutes, drain excess water and add coconut oil and salt and nuke for another 30 seconds.
Ideally the dish you baked it in is the dish from which you are going to eat it if you are cooking for 1.
If you’re cooking for a larger group, put the frozen vegetables in a pan on top of the stove cook according to directions usually 4 to 5 minutes, drain off excess water, add coconut oil and salt, toss and you are ready to serve. Keep warm while you finish chicken. Set table.

Remove chicken from oven, and if you are like me take the skin off and reserve it for making chicken broth or give it to your dog. My dog freaking loves chicken skin. Sometimes I either put a little bit of curry sauce, or barbecue sauce, on top of the chicken after I remove the skin and turn on the broiler for a minute. If not the sauce may need to be heated up in the microwave for a minute. Not necessary but yummy if you have it on hand.

Instructions
 

  • Heat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Rinse the chicken under warm water and pat dry with a paper towel
  • Line baking dish with parchment paper
  • Sprinkle chicken with your favorite seasonings on both sides
  • Pop into the oven - skin side up - bake for 1 hour.
